Scoliosis surgery is performed to treat the abnormal curvature of spine which creates an S or C shape among individuals. This surgery involves fusing of the spines in order to prevent the progression of the curve and stabilizing it with the use of metal rods, screws and bone grafts. It helps to treat severe spinal deformities, which lead to cosmetic discomfort, breathing issues & pain.
